Robert Lopez Becomes FIRST EVER Double EGOT Winner

TIn case you wanted to feel like an underachiever, consider this bit of pop-culture news:

With his win -- along with wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez -- for Coco's "Remember Me," Robert Lopez is not only the YOUNGEST person to ever EGOT, he's now the ONLY person to double-EGOT.

This means that Lopez has won:

  • Two Emmys -- Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Music Direction & Composition for The Wonder Pets in 2008 and 2010
  • Two Grammys -- he's actually won three, but, you know...for Best Musical Theater Album for The Book of Mormon in 2012 and for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media for Frozen in 2015 (along with Best Song for "Let It Go")
  • Two Oscars -- for Best Original Song for "Let It Go" in 2014 and "Remember Me" for 2018
  • Two Tonys -- (again, actually three, but now that's just bragging) for Best Original Score for Avenue Q in 2004 and for The Book of Mormon in 2011 (along with Best Book of a Musical).

And he's 43 years old.

I'm just going to go feel unaccomplished now.
